02 · Tournaments

A whole tournament, connected to the server.

Formats, stages, bracket, schedule and results in one place, with every match tied to what is actually happening on the server.

Five formats

Each stage picks its own format and options.

  • Single elimination, with automatic byes and a third-place match
  • Double elimination, with a bracket reset if the lower-bracket team wins
  • Round robin, in one or more groups, single or double
  • Swiss system, the format used at the Majors
  • GSL groups of four teams

Chained stages

When a stage ends, the next one takes the qualified teams, already paired. Before the bracket is generated, you can see the proposed seeding and reorder it.

  • A different number of maps per round, such as a best-of-five final
  • One-click results, with undo
  • Standings and rankings that recalculate themselves

Matches link up by themselves

When the match starts on the server, it appears live on the bracket with the score of the current map. When it ends, the result is entered and the bracket moves on.

Map veto

Each captain vetoes from their phone, without creating an account, or from the in-game chat, both at once. The veto follows the order used in professional tournaments and sets the match's maps and sides.

  • A map pool per tournament, with a picture of each map
  • The veto shows up in the game and on the broadcast

Teams, check-in and servers

Teams and their rosters are entered once and work for every tournament. Teams confirm they are present with a check-in, and free servers are shared out among the matches that are ready.

The bracket on another site

Every tournament has a public, read-only view that updates itself, ready to embed on your league's website or to use as a source in OBS.
