Third-party licences
What Regie.gg uses that is not its own.
Each component, its licence and how it reaches the PC. Updated on 22 October 2026.
What the console downloads
These components do not ship inside Regie.gg: the console downloads them from their author's official source, into the folder the organiser chooses and only when they are needed.

Our own components under a free licence
The add-ons that run inside the game server belong to Regie.gg and are released under GPL-3.0 or later, because they are built on CounterStrikeSharp and AMX Mod X. Their source code ships with the application.

| Regie.gg plugin for Counter-Strike 2 | GPL-3.0-or-later | Source code included with the application |
| Regie.gg plugin for Counter-Strike 1.6 | GPL-3.0-or-later | Source code included with the application |
Game content
Regie.gg never distributes game files.
- The Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty 4 files are copied from the installation the organiser already has.
- The Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty 4 radars are extracted from those same files.
- The Counter-Strike 2 radars are downloaded on request from the public cs2-map-icons repository. They are the property of Valve Corporation.
MatchZy
In Counter-Strike 2, match refereeing (knife round, pauses, round backups and resuming the series) is handled by MatchZy, by Shobhit Pathak, under the MIT licence. Regie.gg does not modify its code: it downloads it from its official release and configures options that MatchZy itself provides, such as the chat prefix, the server name and the credits at the start of the match. Thanks to its author for an excellent project.
